First timer visitor here! And I love rarang chicken. It is spicy but I still can bear the spices. Usually if you have this sauce, it will a bit bitter but this one different. When we arrived there at around 2pm, plenty of seats available. They also has places inside which may have bigger space I have no chance to check, too bad. Honestly it is a bit confusing to find which one the most recommended chicken rarang in the area, because all of the restaurant named RM. KHAS RARANG, but finally we decided to pick one with more reviews located rightly before the gas station. Firstly I saw some local people seems enjoy the food, and we follow them. The food is okay, I mean it great! But I just hard to find the uniqueness taste on this menu. My brain only record the menu as spicey chicken with oily sauces. Still worth to try! They also sold the chicken in can, so you can have as souvenirs. Prices are moderate to high, I spend for almost 100k for two people with two glass of sweet tea. This area is located quite far from the city center, only recommended if you came accross this place from else where. If you only have sometime in Lombok, I would say it is not recommended to visit. All in all, it is a great menu! Try it at least once, its delicious!

Authentic Lomboknese Cuisine. Definitely must try...! They use free-range chicken. The service is fast & the staff are friendly. Will be back....

This was my first visit to RM Khas Rangrang Lombok, despite having traveled to Lombok several times before. The flavors are quite distinctive—a bold combination of sweet, spicy, and savory that feels characteristic of local cuisine. The chicken was particularly enjoyable, well-seasoned and satisfying. As for the vegetables, they leaned more toward the salty side and were relatively straightforward in taste. Prices are reasonable and affordable, making it an easy option for those looking to explore local flavors without excess. Overall, a pleasant introduction to a well-known local spot, and one worth trying for a taste of Lombok’s culinary character.

One of best chicken Rarang at East Lombok. Nice place, big place, and floor style dining. Order only packet, include fried chicken, Rarang style spiced chicken, soup vegetables, peanut, drink.
